We hope you find inspiration, healing, and comfort from the spaces that we have purposefully created for you.
The sensory deprivation achieved by spending time in a floatation therapy tank, enables a deep relaxation state that allows the body to release long-held deep stress. Pain is relieved, blood flow is stimulated through all the tissues, natural endorphins are released, and the brain gives out alpha waves associated with relaxation and meditation.
Salt therapy is a natural treatment in a controlled air medium that simulates the natural salt cave microclimate. Dry salt releases negative ions and when these are inhaled for a sufficient time period, they can absorb impurities and help to eliminate toxins in the body. Our salt cave is made from Himalayan salt bricks.
Our inviting outdoor pool lets patients soak up water infused with restorative sea salt. Given the warm tropical climate in Sri Lanka, a dip in the refreshing salt pool will promote healing and happiness.
Steam, Sauna, Far Infra Red Sauna and Hydrotherapy
Our cosy infrared cocoons promote deep sweating that will help flush out toxins, strengthen your immunity, and improve blood flow to your skin. In addition to the Sauna Room, the Steam Room offers overall body detoxification while relieving pain, and enhancing your immunity in a relaxing setting.
Being physically active and exercising has many benefits for patients. Exercising can improve oxygen circulation, reduce nausea, fatigue, and anxiety. Our fully-equipped gym offers personalised programs with the right intensity for each patient, in order to avoid injuries and complications.
Yoga is recommended for all patients to cope better with stress and pain, and improve flexibility, strength, balance, and endurance. This age-old practice offers instant gratification and lasting transformation for the mind and body.
With a tropical lagoon as your backdrop, our alfresco yoga pavilion is the ideal setting for an emotional and physical boost. Our highly trained yoga practitioners will guide you through rejuvenating routines, as you breathe in the crisp clean air.
Tai Chi originates from China and it translates to ‘grand ultimate’. Tai Chi follows the dynamic balance between mutually interactive phenomena. It was developed originally as a martial art as well as a meditative movement.
Qi Gong is a 5000-year-old Chinese practice in Traditional Chinese Medicine that combines postures, exercises, breathing techniques, and meditation to cultivate ‘vital energy’ (Qi). It balances the flow of energy and enhances the functionality of the mind and body. Qi Gong has shown to decrease fatigue, cortisol level, and increase the immune function, quality of life and better sleeping patterns. It can regulate the functional energy balance internally for healing, stress neutralisation, longevity, and personal tranquility.
Clinical Pilates is a form of Pilates that focuses on core strengthening, posture balance, control, strength, breathing and flexibility. It is used with physiotherapy to recover from injures after surgery.
