Treatment protocols used for the management of Cancer, Diabetes, Chronic Kidney Disease and preventive Clinical Detox.

Clinical Detoxification
Detoxification is a cornerstone of our integrative oncology treatment protocol. People vary in their ability to process and eliminate toxins and in how toxins impact their health. Clinical detoxification provides a professional system of restoring health and it can be used in combination with other therapies.

Chiropractic Rehabilitation

Cancer causes stress on the musculoskeletal system and chiropractic care can be used to reduce stress, increase mobility, stress, strength and function.

In chiropractic care, an adjustment (manually applying a control force) to the musculoskeletal system of the patient is done to restore the alignment of the spine or other joints in the body. These treatments are useful for getting rid of symptoms like back pain, neck pain, neuropathy and fatigue etc.

Clinical Psychotherapy
Instead of narrowing in on an individual problem, psychotherapy considers overall patterns, chronic issues, and recurrent feelings. This requires openness to exploring the past and its impact on the present. The aim of our psychotherapy sessions is to resolve the underlying issues which fuel on-going complaints, hence helping the natural healing process.

Colonic Irrigation
The health of your gut is the pathway to health and healing, and colonic irrigation is the first step in restoring gut health through the subsequent re-irrigation of gut flora.

Colon cleansing is required to get rid of faeces and other harmful toxins accumulated on the colonic walls, which would otherwise cause preconditions for various diseases in the body.

Clinical Enzyme Therapy
Pancreatic enzyme therapy is important in reducing endotoxins produced by bacteria, thus decreasing inflammation and carcinogenesis. This is particularly important in patients who have been found resistant to chemotherapy. Furthermore, this therapy has been shown to improve cellular immunity and up-regulate p53.

Coffee Enemas
Coffee enemas are used for detoxification of the internal systems.
The patient will hold a solution of organic coffee in the colon for about 12-15 minutes. Caffeine in the coffee will be absorbed to the blood stream from the haemorrhoidal vein and will travel to the liver using the portal system. This causes the bile ducts to dilate and secrete bile. Cafestol palmitate in coffee enhances the activity of glutathione S-transferase, an enzyme that stimulates bile excretion. This enzyme has anti-oxidant properties and therefore will neutralize any free radicals in the blood. It is believed that these toxins and free radicals are dissolved in the bile and excreted through the intestines.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)
EFT, also known as ‘tapping’ is a therapeutic tool that combines the principles of western psychotherapy with Chinese acupuncture.

Some of the acupuncture points on the face or the upper body of the patient will be gently tapped while he/she thinks of a specific psychological concern such as a trigger, distressing memory etc. This concern will be rated by the patient using the ‘subjective unit of distress’ (SUD) score system from 0-10 where ‘0’ indicates no distress and ‘10’ indicates high dress.

Tapping transfers kinetic energy to the acupuncture points. While tapping process is ongoing, the patient will be asked to voice positive statements. This process will be repeated until the SUD score is lowered. EFT has shown to be a highly useful therapeutic tool for anxiety, depression and PTSD symptoms.

Food and Diet

The open kitchen at Vingyana captures the five different types of tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami. Each of the tastes has a unique effect on our mind-body physiology, and provides the flavour that makes eating a pleasure.

Our dietary interventions are based on the Ketogenic Diet, Gerson Therapy, and Michio Kushi’s Macrobiotic Diet. Leave it to our highly experienced chefs to whip up appetising meals based on your condition and dietary requirements, using the freshest organically sourced ingredients.

Prescribed diets are variable and entirely reflect the metabolic typing of each individual Cancer. Each patient receives individualized dietary recommendations and directives are passed onto highly skilled chefs. All the diets, however, require that each patient consume strictly organic foods, drink fresh vegetable juice, and avoid refined foods such as white flour and white sugar. A high-tech and comprehensive allergy testing is an integral part of the design of specific food plans.

GcMAF
GcMAF is a protein that activates macrophages and help them to detect and eliminate Cancerous cells. GcMAF is low in Cancer patients and administered subcutaneously.

Cancer immunotherapy involves stimulating the patient’s immune system to locate and eliminate Cancer cells. GcMAF is a potent endogenous macrophage activator found in blood naturally. GcMAF activates macrophages via superoxide radical generation and activates phagocytosis.

Nagalase is an enzyme secreted only by Cancer cells, not from normal cells. Nagalase breaks down parts of the serum Gc protein. Normally, the Gc protein acts a precursor for GcMAF formation. When Nagalase breaks down the Gc protein, the structure of the Gc protein changes and it can no longer act as a precursor for MAF. Therefore, the macrophages cannot be activated using GcMAF anymore. Nagalase can only act on Gc protein, not on GcMAF. Therefore, injecting GcMAF will boost the immune system and destroy Cancer cells.

High-dose Vitamins, Minerals and Herbal Intravenous
Our herbal intravenous treatments are based on years of research and experience by our medical director. We use the highest quality, highest strength raw materials, prepared by our compounding pharmacists to target specific conditions as presented by the individual case.

Intravenous therapy is an extremely effective method for the delivery of highly bioavailable and dose-dependent botanicals and nutrients into the bloodstream. These selective, evidence-based agents are rapidly infused into the circulation and are delivered into the cellular space without having to go through the digestive tract.

From the improvement in cellular health, patients will experience superior immunity, increased energy and enhanced detoxification.

Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a 200-year-old health system that uses minute, low doses of substances found in nature. Homeopathic remedies are highly diluted and therefore, non-toxic. These remedies in large quantities would produce symptoms similar to that of the disease.

Complex Homeopathic and Homo-Toxicology
Homeopathy uses minute, low doses of substances found in nature. The homeopathic remedies are highly diluted and therefore are nontoxic. Homo-toxicology is a practice that studies the effects of toxic substances on the human body. It uses homeopathic remedies to get rid of the toxins in the body as the principle of this practise states that diseases are caused by the accumulation of the toxins in the body.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is a treatment that involves breathing 100% oxygen at a pressure which is higher than the atmospheric pressure.

In hyperbaric oxygen therapy, because oxygen is at a pressure higher than the normal pressure, a higher amount of oxygen will be dissolved in blood plasma. Blood plasma can reach areas which are inaccessible to red blood cells. Therefore, oxygen will be delivered to the areas which were previously oxygen deficient.

Localised Hyperthermia
High heat is applied to a section of the body (example: on a tumour) in order to raise the temperature of the cells and destroy them. Different types of energy may be used to apply heat, including microwave, radiofrequency, and ultrasound. It is normally used in conjunction with several other therapies to maximize the therapeutic potential.

Whole Body Hyperthermia
The temperature of the whole body is raised between 42 – 44˚C inside a thermal chamber. This process will initiate cell death of malignant cells.

The proteins inside the cell will undergo conformational changes because the bonds holding the protein structures will be disrupted. Hyperthermia also improves the functioning of the immune system.

Metronomic Chemotherapy
Metronomic Chemotherapy refers to the administration of conventional chemotherapeutic agents at very low and frequent doses, compared to the standard regimen of cyclic high-dose administration. Metronomic chemotherapy will reduce the side effects and delay the potential for drug resistance.

Mistletoe Injections
Mistletoe extract for Cancer therapy is recommended due to its minimal side effects. It has antitumor and immunomodulatory effects. It can be given as a subcutaneous injection or using IV therapy. It is widely used to treat patients with breast Cancer.

1500 species of mistletoe have been identified all over the world. They contain different types of biologically active compounds. Lectins, iscotoxins, flavonoids, and membrane lipids are some of the components found in mistletoe. Lectins are the main constituents of mistletoe (there are 3 types of lectins: ML-I, ML-II and ML-III) Mistletoe lectins stimulate the secretion of cytokines, enhance cyototoxic natural killer cells and induce apoptosis.

Viscotoxins are also important constituents of mistletoe. They have immunogenic properties. Mistletoe also contains a type of peptide called ‘Kuttans peptides’ which are responsible for immunostimulatory and cytotoxoc effects against Cancer cells.

Osteopathy
A non-invasive, manual procedure that focuses on total-body health by treating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework, which includes the joints, muscles, and spine. It positively affects the body’s nervous, circulatory, and lymphatic systems, complementing the other therapies that we apply.

Pain Management Acupuncture Treatment
Acupuncture is a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which involves inserting tiny needles, heat, pressure, and other treatments to various points of the body to influence the flow of energy and restore balance.

SCENAR Therapy
SCENAR Therapy is a pain management technique used to stimulate the neurones into alleviating pain through the skin (transdermal).

Spinal Rehabilitation

Cancer causes stress on the musculoskeletal system, and chiropractic care and osteopathic rehabilitation can be used to reduce stress, increase mobility, strength, and function. These treatments are useful for getting rid of symptoms like back pain, neck pain, neuropathy, and fatigue.
