Meals at Vingyana are designed specifically to help support, improve, and transform metabolism. Individualised plans cater to each person’s specific needs, while reducing inflammation and toxicity levels.

Vingyana houses the highly sophisticated ALCAT Test that helps identify allergies and sensitivities to food. It detects immune reactions to various food additives, environmental chemicals, medicinal herbs, moulds, antibiotics, and other anti-inflammatory agents.

Following a thorough testing phase, individualised meals are designed to help support digestion, transform metabolism, reduce inflammation, and toxicity levels. Our professional nutritionists and qualified chefs work together to create meals that will keep patients at optimum health, using food that helps overcome disease.

We focus on low human-intervention food, where the food has undergone minimal or no change from its place in nature. This creates an ideal balance between macro and micro nutrients, allowing your body’s biochemistry to convert food into what it requires.

Our dietary interventions borrow from the Ketogenic Diet, Gerson Therapy, and Michio Kushi’s Macrobiotic Diet. We also accommodate sugar-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian diets.

Sri Lanka is blessed with an abundance of richly nutritious fruit and vegetables. Our chefs work with local superfoods: gotu kola, coconut, murunga, jack fruit, kale, avocado, and strawberry, while enhancing the preparations with the goodness of ginger, basil, turmeric, cumin, Ceylon cinnamon, and black pepper.

Our meal plans are exciting and diverse, while remaining healthy. Patients can look forward to changing menus that feature Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Mediterranean, Italian, and Sri Lankan cuisine. Inventive preparations and healthy yet delicious desserts make meal times special at Vingyana. Highlights include our signature turmeric smoothie, matcha mint green smoothie, turmeric cashew curry, zucchini spaghetti, and chocolate and avocado mousse. Another exciting menu feature is the fresh seafood that is caught daily from the Indian Ocean.

The juice bar is open daily for a refreshing boost of vitamins and minerals. Our method of cold-pressed juice extraction doesn’t oxidise or degrade the ingredients, keeping nutrients and enzymes intact. Highly medicinal king coconut and coconut are the base for many of our juices.
