Homeopathy and Homotoxicology – Enhances the body’s normal healing and self-regulatory processes. Based on the premise that ‘like cures like’ highly diluted energetic substances that make up Homeopathic remedies trigger the body’s ability to heal itself by stimulating a precise reaction in the body against the presenting symptoms and conditions. Homotoxicology is a therapeutic branch that enables deep cleansing of the body tissues, removing old toxins, disease processes and degenerative debris, leaving the fluids clean, fresh and able to function as intended.
Osteopathy – A non-invasive manual procedure that focuses on total body health by treating and strengthening the musculoskeletal framework, which includes the joints, muscles and spine. It positively affects the body’s nervous, circulatory and lymphatic systems complimenting the other therapies that we apply.
Oxygen Therapies – Ozone Therapy and Ultra Violet irradiation – The therapeutic effects of ozone and its application in stimulation of oxygen metabolisation and stimulation of immune response is utilised by us through the use of ozone therapy.
Ultra Violet irradiation exposes the blood to light to heighten the body’s immune response and to kill infections.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy HBOT
Oxygen is breathed at 3 atmospheres and is established as an effective therapy especially when combined with the Ketogenic Diet. It has a significantly positive effect at inhibiting tumour growth and increasing survival rates.
Whole body hyperthermia achieves thermal elevation of body temperature. To that, the body’s immune system is placed on high alert. The overactive immune response which is triggered, makes it easier to introduce other interventions to address unhealthy cells and disrupt Cancer cells. It is best applied in combination with other therapies.
Local hyperthermia is used to address cases of primary and recurring secondary tumours regardless of tumour stage.
Colonic Irrigation, also known as Colonic Hydrotherapy, is a safe and effective method of cleansing the colon (a major source of toxic overload) by repeated gentle flushing with warm filtered water under very low pressure, using specialised massage techniques on the abdominal area to stimulate release. The health of your gut is the pathway to health and healing, and Colonic Irrigation is the first step in restoring gut health through the subsequent re-irrigation of gut flora.
Halotherapy – Salt Cave
Europeans have known that Salt Caves benefit many people with lung and sinus problems. Recent research has shown it is effective in a wide range of lung problems including, difficulty breathing, rehabilitation of patients after acute and chronic lung diseases like acute bronchitis, pneumonia, chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis, after lung surgery, bacterial infections, allergies, COPD, cardiovascular systemic support and a wide range of skin problems.
The sensory deprivation achieved by spending time in a flotation therapy tank enables a deep relaxation state that allows the body to release long held deep stress. Pain is relieved. Blood flow is stimulated through all the tissues, natural endorphins are released, and the brain gives out alpha waves associated with relaxation and meditation.
Cancer patients who practise yoga as therapy during their treatment often refer to their yoga practice as a life-saver. Our patients find relief when practising therapeutic yoga, no matter how sick or tired they feel. As the interest in more holistic approaches to healing is growing, yoga therapy for Cancer patients and Cancer survivors is emerging as one of the more successful methods for combating the physical discomfort of Cancer and Cancer treatment.
Tai Chi & Qi Gong or Chi Kung: The Energy Within
When most think about exercise, it´s often still about “going for the burn”, “pumping iron” or other vigorous activities to get our heart rates up.
Originally developed as a martial arts from for self-defence, Tai Chi Chuan is nearly 2,000 years old and is a highly effective exercise system that has been described as “moving meditation”, and is centred around breathing exercises (Qi Gong or Chi Kung) with the combination of motion and stillness.
“When practising Tai Chi, a person looks as though they are moving slowly on the outside, but on the inside the body´s metabolism is running at a much, much faster rate,” explains Tai Chi master James Man.
The words mean “supreme ultimate”. It is the connection between the two energies that creates new life and everything that comes from that. From this interchange of the two opposing, yet complementary energies, everything else is created.
Pilates ( Movement Therapy)
Is a form of exercise, developed by Joseph Pilates. It emphasises the balanced development of the body through focusing on core strength, flexibility and awareness in order to support efficient, graceful movement. Originally created to rehabilitate spinal damage, Pilates has stood the test of time and continues to be one of the best physical rehabilitation methods.
Every sound has a physiological effect. When you listen to a beautiful piece of music or inspirational words, a cascade of pleasure-producing chemicals course through your body, supporting health and wholeness. At Vingyana, we use special customised fragrances and oils to stimulate your senses, bringing healing.
The Sense of Taste
Our open kitchen captivates the five different types of tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter and umami. Each of the taste have a unique effect on our mind-body physiology and provides the flavour that makes eating a pleasure.
Healing Through Touch
A spa and massage therapy epitomises the fundamental sense of ‘touch’ stimulating health and well-being. When your skin is stimulated by a calming touch or massage, it releases many healing chemicals that enhance immune functions, improve circulation and promote restful sleep.
Meals at Vingyana are designed specifically to help support and improve digestion and transform metabolism. Individualised plans cater to each person’s specific needs, while reducing inflammation and toxicity levels.

Sri Lanka is the geographical hub where East meets West. The philosophy and beauty, the weather and the hospitality provide an ideal setting for healing – spiritual, emotional and physical.
Sri Lanka has its own Ayurvedic system dating back over 3000 years, based on a series of prescriptions handed down by generations. Some of our ancient kings were also prominent physicians. Ancient inscriptions on rock surfaces reveal the full establishment of the medical services, which existed within the country. These ancient hospital sites have come to symbolize a focus on healing and care, which was prevalent at that time.
Since the early days of travel, Sri Lanka has been known as one of the world’s most beautiful and diverse holiday destinations. This is reflected in the many nicknames Sri Lanka has acquired over the centuries-Serendib, Ceylon, Resplendent Isle, Island of Dharma and Pearl of the Indian Ocean.
In Sri Lanka, every sight, sound and smell engulfs you with new experiences.
Sri Lanka is a multi-ethnic, multi-religious and multi-cultural society; a reflection of the island’s encounters with successive foreign immigrants. A history of colonial occupation has also left a mark on Sri Lanka’s identity, with Portuguese, Dutch and British elements intermingling with various facets of Sri Lankan culture.
Whatever their situation in society, the people of Sri Lanka possess a warm and friendly nature reflected in their enduring smiling faces and eagerness to help those unfamiliar with local life. You will find that Sri Lankans are very hospitable and take pride in inviting people in to their homes, however modest they may be.
The perfect destination for your journey of healing.
